The Wait

I have a 143.1 pound baby on its way.

(I'm really sorry, UPS...would cookies help?)

That's right, folks! Olympus is in the mail! She printed a couple of days later than I had hoped, and let me tell you, there was some adamant nail-biting at Kabin Krilliams this week. But at last, about 80 books are making their way from Easton, Pennsylvania.

Wow, I have literally never written out Pennsylvania. What a strange word. Like lord Dracula would live there if he also collected coins and resided in his mom's basement.

Anyway.

OLYMPUS IS ON ITS WAY!

Now instead of biting my nails over whether it will ship in time for my signing, I get to bite my nails over whether they will have printed correctly. Over whether they will have some sort of horrifying typo that I somehow missed when I ordered my preview. Like spelling my own name incorrectly.

But let's not dwell on the scary scary world. Let's talk about that signing.

Northern Grounds is going to host my first one! It will be in Ely, Minnesota at the world's cutest little coffee shop (where, incidentally, most of Firebird and a chunk of Olympus were penned). The owner has been extremely helpful and accommodating, and is letting me host my wee book during the Harvest Moon Festival--one of Ely's biggest autumn shindigs.

So if you happen to be in the area, even if you already bought Olympus online or somewhere else, please come on in after 4PM on Saturday, September 7th to have your book signed. I will be selling both Firebird and Olympus there, so if you're wondering what to get your niece/sister/offspring/father/mother/yourself for Christmas, look no further.

That's all for now, my hoomans!

Peace,
Kristen
